Synopsis :
Three down-on-luck and out-of-money brothers are summoned to the death of their grandfather. With nothing in common, except their undying hate for each other, the funeral turns out to be a reunion from hell. After paying their final respects, the brothers can’t wait to get as far away from each other as possible, even if it means returning back to their miserable lives.
But wait, there is a will. The deceased grandfather left them an inheritance. One hundred acres of lush sloping hills deep in the heart of the Himachal. It’s worth a bounty and the brothers feel their sorrows fly away. But as most tales go, this one too has a twist. A clause in the will.
The brothers will get the million-dollar estate only after completing a series of bizarre clauses set forth by their eccentric grandfather. They will have to spend an entire night at an abandoned cabin on the estate, alone with the two other people they hate the most – their brothers. And their dead grandfather’s ashes for company.
It gets worse. The brothers are required to repeat this ritual every year for the next three years.
The story then fast-forwards to the third and final year. It’s been a heavy winter and the cabin is snowed-out. It’s the night of the reunion and the brothers arrive one by one at the cabin. Things immediately start heating up. Being the last year of their forced misery, all three are in a hurry to get over with the “blasted reunion” and move on.
But the night is far from over. Between the three brothers getting horribly drunk, almost killing one another and raking out shameful skeletons from the family chest, the night is amusingly eventful.
And then day breaks. A bright new note. A compromising truce is reached on account of the good fortune coming their way. But with fortune comes foolishness. And after three years of waiting, planning and preparing, they came to the final battle without the one thing needed most - Food. Miles away from civilisation with no hope of survival and facing a life and death situation, tempers flare and a repeat of the previous night’s hilarious performance is about to begin.
The plot thickens with the entry of a rodent-like man through the chimney. The brothers are thrown into one situation after another, as they comically and collectively, fight their way out. And just when they see their fantasies coming to life with the arrival of a bunch of beautiful strangers, their lives are turned upside down by a moronic police inspector. Dreams are shattered though the brothers realize that blood after all, is thicker than water. But it is a tad too late!
Will this be the end of the road?
